The ASTM C144 graded sand and unique polymers in Techniseal®’s SmartSand® Polymeric Sand combine to create a sturdy junction between interlocking concrete pavers exposed to typical traffic. After being activated with water, it solidifies when applied dry. It makes joints resistant to weeds, insects, and erosion. For routine jobs where high-performance sand might not be required, SmartSand is the ideal choice. Made using NextGelTM technology, SmartSand® dries quickly, sets quickly, and doesn’t leave any unsightly haze on pavers.
